Services
Psychiatric Consultations
Comprehensive psychiatric evaluations assess mental health status, medication needs, and treatment goals. Initial consultations last over an hour to develop personalized treatment plans combining pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy. Follow-up appointments monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed.
Medication Tapers
Specialized medication tapering programs use gradual dose reductions (10-15% every 4-6 weeks) to safely discontinue psychotropic medications. The process preserves medication effectiveness for future needs while minimizing withdrawal symptoms through close monitoring and support.
Substance Abuse Management
Treatment programs address prescription and non-prescription drug abuse through medication management, behavioral therapy, and relapse prevention strategies. Focus includes controlled substances like sedatives and stimulants with emphasis on restoring medication efficacy through structured tapering protocols.
Crisis Intervention
Rapid assessment and stabilization services for acute mental health crises. Treatment focuses on immediate symptom relief, safety planning, and connecting patients with appropriate ongoing care resources through collaboration with emergency departments and hospital teams.
Psychotherapy Services
Integrative psychotherapy combines multiple evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, and Internal Family Systems. Sessions address anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma through weekly sessions focusing on skill development and emotional regulation techniques.
