Welcome to my psychotherapy practice, where I offer Teletherapy via Secure Video. I understand how vulnerable starting psychotherapy can be, and I'm here to help you relax and tell your stories. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I've had the privilege of working with individuals, couples, and families for over 30 years. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where you can access your inherent wisdom and courage to tackle your difficulties.

I specialize in individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy, with a focus on women's issues, sexual abuse, trauma, parenting, infertility, and therapy for eating disorders. I'm also trained in hypnotherapy, EMDR, and Sensorimotor psychotherapy. My office is located in Oakland, California, and I'm available for consultations.

As an adjunct to individual therapy, I offer group therapy, which provides a place to experience healing within a community. For families with adult children, I also offer family therapy. I'm passionate about helping individuals and families work through some of the hardest issues that involve the mind and body.

I believe that while working together, both therapist and client create the environment and process that works for both. Therapy can bring up intense feelings, but it can also be joyful, a place to fully explore your potential and laughter is a part of it. I look forward to working with you to help you achieve your goals.

My Background

I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Counseling from California State University, Hayward, and a Bachelor's degree in Human Development from the same institution. I'm a Licensed Marriage, Family Therapist (MFC 25766) and a Certified Group Psychotherapist. I've received additional training in hypnotherapy, EMDR, and Sensorimotor psychotherapy.

I've had the privilege of serving as a Process Group Leader and Faculty at The Psychotherapy Institute in Berkeley, Ca., and as Past President of the Northern California Group Psychotherapy Society. I'm a Clinical Member of the American Group Psychotherapy Association.
