Empathy. Compassion. Positive Change.

As a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), I am dedicated to providing a safe, non-judgmental, and compassionate space for individuals and couples to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. My practice is dedicated to helping clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationship with their thoughts, emotions, and others.

Our Services

At Mindfulness Psychotherapy, I offer a range of services designed to help individuals and couples navigate life's challenges. My approach is centered on mindfulness, which is the practice of paying attention to the present moment without judgment. This approach has been shown to be effective in reducing stress, anxiety, and depression, while increasing overall well-being.

My Approach

As a psychotherapist, I have been trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches, including but not limited to:

  • Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT): A powerful approach that combines mindfulness practices with cognitive-behavioral principles to reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): A structured approach that helps individuals identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors.
  • Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT): A therapy that combines CBT with mindfulness and self-acceptance techniques to manage emotions and reduce self-destructive behaviors.
  • Brief Solution Focused Therapy: A goal-oriented approach that focuses on solving problems and achieving desired outcomes.
  • Experiential Therapy: A person-centered approach that focuses on the client's subjective experience and encourages self-expression.

What is Psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy is a collaborative process between a trained therapist and a client. The therapist helps the client explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a safe and non-judgmental environment. The goal of psychotherapy is to increase self-awareness, develop coping strategies, and improve overall well-being.
