Our founder, Dr. Michael Heitt, is a licensed psychologist with over two decades of experience working with adults, seniors, and older adolescents.

Dr. Heitt has a particular interest and expertise in working with professionals, including physicians, lawyers, psychologists, nurses, executives, and other professionals dealing with personal and work-related challenges. He has served on the faculty of Johns Hopkins University and Loyola University Maryland, and has been a member of the Ethics Committee for the Maryland Psychological Association (MPA) for multiple terms. Dr. Heitt earned his Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree in clinical psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Chicago and has worked in a variety of settings, including employee assistance programs, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, outpatient mental health centers, emergency departments, courts, and not-for-profit organizations.
