Business Details
We believe that everyone has the capacity to live a full and happy life, yet we understand that daily living can feel stressful and overwhelming. We have provided dedicated mental health care to adults in individual and couple therapy since 1988. Our formal clinical training includes an intensive pre-doctoral internship at McLean Hospital and a post-doctoral fellowship at Harvard Community Health Plan. We received a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Boston University and a Masters degree from Harvard University. Through these rigorous programs, we developed the skills necessary to work in a flexible manner that is responsive to the needs of each client. Our core values are to listen carefully, participate actively, and be compassionate, fully present, and validating.
We have found that these qualities create a therapy relationship where clients feel secure and empowered to explore their concerns. We remain current with developments in the field through continuing education workshops, seminars, and webinars. In recent years, we have integrated the role of mindfulness and the importance of self-compassion into the healing process. We see ourselves as guides with extensive training and experience, while we view our clients as the experts on their own lives. We work collaboratively as a team to achieve your personal goals. Our approach is humanistic and eclectic, drawing guidance from a variety of perspectives to meet your individual needs.
