Cultivating Intimacy with Self and Other
At the heart of our work is a focus on deepening your understanding of your emotional life. Through exploring your relationship with others, you cultivate self-awareness, and by exploring your relationship with yourself, you cultivate more harmonious relationships with others. Self-intimacy, or feeling connected to all parts of ourselves, is crucial for being sufficiently intimate with others. It involves embracing all parts of our experiences, even those that we may dislike or that make us feel uncomfortable, ashamed, or vulnerable.
