Empowering You to Live a Meaningful Life

Who We Are

At Mike Seevers Psychotherapy, we understand that life can be challenging, and sometimes, the weight of our experiences can feel overwhelming. That's why we're dedicated to providing a safe, non-judgmental space for individuals to process their emotions, thoughts, and experiences. Our goal is to support individuals in overcoming the traumas and struggles that have shaped them, and to help them find a path towards healing, growth, and wellness.

Our Services

As a licensed therapist, I, Mike Seevers, have over three decades of experience in the mental health field. I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota and a Master's degree in Human Relations (Counseling focus) from the University of Oklahoma. I am also licensed as a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (LMHP) and Certified Professional Counselor (CPC) in the state of Nebraska.

EMDR: A Treatment Approach

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a treatment approach that aims to help individuals process and heal from traumatic or troubling life events. EMDR uses multiple treatment modes, including eye movements, to support the brain's natural ability to process and positively integrate life experiences. By desensitizing the negative impact of traumatic memories and reprocessing them in a healthier way, EMDR can help individuals reduce their symptoms and improve their overall well-being.

Other Approaches

While EMDR is a powerful tool for processing traumatic experiences, it's not the only approach we use. We also incorporate mindfulness-based interventions to help individuals cultivate awareness, self-compassion, and resilience. Our approach is tailored to each individual's unique needs and goals, and we work closely with clients to develop a personalized plan for their mental health journey.
