About Our Founder

Lisa Cottrell, LPC, is the CEO and founder of Well Being Psychotherapy. With over 20 years of experience as a psychotherapist and life coach, she has helped countless individuals overcome a range of challenges and achieve significant personal growth and healing. Lisa is extensively trained in various therapeutic approaches, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindful Meditation, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Gestalt, and trauma therapies such as Brain-spotting, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and the Developmental Needs Meeting Strategy. She is committed to providing a supportive and non-judgmental environment where clients can feel safe exploring their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
