Individual Therapy
Our individual therapy sessions provide personalized mental health treatment through one-on-one sessions with licensed professionals. This approach helps clients address specific concerns like anxiety, depression, and trauma while developing coping strategies. With both in-person and teletherapy options available, our therapists work collaboratively to create tailored treatment plans that evolve with client needs over time.
Family Therapy
Family therapy addresses mental health concerns within the context of family systems through structured sessions that examine relational dynamics. Our clinicians use this approach to help families understand how individual struggles connect to broader family patterns. This treatment modality focuses on improving communication, resolving conflicts, and fostering emotional growth across all family members through our unique Neurosystemic framework.
Play Therapy
Specially designed for children aged 3-12, play therapy uses therapeutic play to help young clients express emotions and develop coping skills. Our trained therapists use carefully selected toys and activities to facilitate emotional growth and self-regulation. This developmentally appropriate approach helps children process difficult experiences and build essential social and emotional skills through natural play behaviors.
Psychoeducational Services
Our psychoeducational evaluations identify learning strengths, challenges, and potential diagnoses through comprehensive assessments for all ages. These evaluations help develop targeted intervention strategies for academic and personal success. The service includes detailed analysis of cognitive patterns and recommendations for educational accommodations or therapeutic interventions based on individual learning profiles.
Neurotherapy
Neurotherapy services use advanced technology to train brain function and improve mental health outcomes. This non-invasive treatment helps regulate brain activity patterns associated with conditions like ADHD and anxiety. By combining neurofeedback with traditional therapy approaches, we help clients achieve better emotional regulation and cognitive performance through personalized brain training protocols.

After Eight Years: My Experience as a HighRisk Psychiatric Patient

I was hoping I wouldnt have to post this, but given the ethics of the situation and how long this has dragged on without any substantive accountability, here we go. I was a highrisk, highacuity psychiatric patient at Stone Creek for eight years. During that time I trusted this practice with my life: I was on a heavy medication regimen, I was repeatedly in extreme crisis, and I was consistently told this was my clinical home. Thats the context for what happened next.

In 2026, in the middle of a dangerous, providerdirected taper off multiple psych meds, my longtime therapist, DIANNE APPOLITO, abruptly terminated care with me by email. I had written to her, in detail, about serious concerns with how my case was being handled, how my records were being managed, and what I needed from the practice to stay safe while we figured out a path forward. She then reframed the entire situation as a dispute over a single noshow fee, stated that we simply had a different perception of events, and suggested that mental health treatment is critical for both me and my husband.

At no point did she acknowledge or address the very real safety issues I raised as a highrisk patient in active taper, the pattern of administrative failures I documented, or the impact of abruptly losing my therapist of eight years midcrisis. Instead, the message functioned as a unilateral termination notice wrapped in condescension. For anyone reading this who is not in the field: when you are a severely ill, highrisk patient, already destabilized by a complex medication taper, having your therapist of nearly a decade abruptly walk away via email while explicitly disclaiming responsibility for even reading your messages is not a difference in perception.

It is abandonment. It is the opposite of traumainformed care. It is the opposite of what any vulnerable patient should experience when they trust a clinician and a practice with their safety. I want to be clear that I am not complaining because a single appointment went wrong or because I didnt like a boundary. I am writing this because there is now a written record, from Stone Creeks own clinician, stating that she does not take responsibility for reading client emails in 2026, when email is one of the primary ways patients are instructed to communicate about scheduling, crises, and followup.

That statement, combined with the pattern of frontdesk failures and sudden termination in the middle of a highrisk taper, is a systemic safety issue, not a personality conflict. If you are a highrisk, highacuity patient considering this practice, or a family member trying to help someone in real danger, you deserve to know how Stone Creek handled my case after eight years under their care. I strongly urge anyone in a similar position to ask very direct questions about how your messages will be handled, what their policies are for reading and responding to client communication, and what safeguards are in place to prevent abrupt termination during critical treatment windows.

For balance, I will add that I am now with a different practice, Restoring Hope, who have consistently worked with me financially, with and without insurance, and have made care affordable and logistically possible in a way Stone Creek never did. There are clinicians in this city who understand that highrisk patients are not an inconvenience to be managed, but human beings whose lives depend on their providers taking responsibility for the systems they build.
