Our Story
At Potomac Valley Psychotherapy Associates and The Eating Disorders Center of Potomac Valley, we are dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment for individuals to seek help and guidance. With over 30 years of experience, our team of therapists and nutritionists is committed to helping individuals of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults, to overcome various mental health challenges and improve their overall well-being.
Our Services
We offer a wide range of services, including individual, couples, family, and group psychotherapy, as well as nutritional counseling and personal coaching. Our experienced professionals work collaboratively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that cater to their unique needs and goals. Additionally, we have established a network of experienced physicians and psychiatrists to provide medical help and medication management when necessary.
Our Team
Our team consists of highly qualified and compassionate professionals, each with their own specialty areas. Our team members are dedicated to providing individualized attention and tailored support to meet the specific needs of each client. With a wide range of specialties, including relationships, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem, parenting, communication, family/couples therapy, group therapy, and conflict resolution, we are equipped to address a variety of mental health concerns.
What We Offer
At Potomac Valley Psychotherapy Associates and The Eating Disorders Center of Potomac Valley, we offer a variety of services, including:
- Individual, couples, family, and group psychotherapy
- Nutritional counseling
- Personal coaching
- Medical help and medication management
- Referrals to residential and outpatient programs
- Virtual and in-person group therapy sessions
Our virtual group for young adult women meets on Mondays from 12:00-1:00 pm, led by Dr. Weiner, and our in-person adolescent girl's groups (grades 9-12) meet regularly. We also offer virtual group therapy sessions through Zoom, allowing clients to participate from any of the 42 PSYPACT states.
