Dr. Tamar Wishnatzky is a licensed psychologist, licensed marriage and family therapist, and certified Gottman Method Couples' Therapist with over 30 years of experience in helping individuals, couples, and families manage a wide range of personal concerns and psychological issues. Gottman Method couples therapy is a structured, goal-oriented, scientifically-based therapy. It is designed to help couples increase respect, affection, and closeness, deepen the friendship foundation of their relationship, rebuild trust after an affair, break through and resolve conflict, generate greater understanding, and create shared meaning.
The therapy usually consists of two or three sessions of assessment and subsequent treatment sessions, typically on a weekly basis. Dr. Wishnatzky will provide you with a thorough assessment, a focused treatment plan, and feedback based on Gottman's Sound Relationship House. She will help you and your partner focus on your friendship, how you approach conflict, and how you create shared meaning in your relationship.
