Dr. Sue Frixione is a clinical psychologist licensed in the state of California, and a member of the American Psychological Association. With a private practice located in Laguna Hills, Orange County, she offers a wide range of clinical and business consulting services. Dr. Frixione earned her master's and doctoral degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University, and has had extensive training and experience in diagnosing and treating mental disorders, threat assessment, critical incident debriefings, and hosting seminars for professional and lay audiences.
Clinical Services
Dr. Frixione's clinical services include psychological counseling for adults, psychological evaluations, and response to traumatic events such as shootings or natural disasters. During the pandemic crisis, she has moved therapy sessions to video conferences using a HIPAA-compliant platform. Her counseling services aim to support individuals who are facing personal challenges, including feeling heartbroken, frustrated, or angry, concerned about someone else's safety or emotional well-being, approaching an important life change, missing a loved one, working too hard, having health issues, feeling stuck and discouraged about life, or out of sync in their relationship or with family.
Business Services
Dr. Frixione's business services include management consultation, which can be provided on the phone, at workplace locations, or other settings. She offers clear and straight-forward advice to inspire and motivate employees, address employee performance problems, deal with difficult personalities, work with employees who have medical or psychological problems, and protect yourself when firing potentially dangerous employees. She also provides help for employees after traumatic situations, such as sudden or upsetting organizational news, injury, illness, or death of a co-worker, work-related accidents or injuries. Her group presentation topics include advice for new supervisors and managers, stress management, professional behavior at work, coping strategies for a changing environment, and more.
Fee Schedule
Dr. Frixione's fee schedule is competitive and transparent. For business services, she charges $150 per hour for business/management consultation, onsite support after workplace incidents, and group presentations. For counseling services, she charges $150 per 50-minute psychotherapy session, and psychological evaluations are priced depending on length. Home visits and appearance at deposition are also available at an additional cost.
