Julie failed to address the issue, instead ignoring it and changing the subject. Charlotte felt compelled to bring the issue up on multiple occasions, but Julie would dismiss it, raise her voice, and even roll her eyes. Charlotte felt humiliated, ashamed, and re-traumatized by the experience.
