Screenings and Evaluations
We provide comprehensive screenings and evaluations for children from 12 months to 17 years of age, covering a variety of developmental disorders, learning disabilities, and behavioral challenges. Our team of experts uses evidence-based assessments to identify strengths and areas of need, enabling us to develop personalized plans for each child.
Educational Consultation
Navigating the education system can be overwhelming, especially for parents of children with special needs. Our team of experts is here to guide you through the process, providing expert advice on educational options, 504 plans, and special education programming. We also offer consultation services to help you understand and advocate for your child's educational rights.
Child Therapy
Our trained therapists work with children, adolescents, and teens to address a range of emotional and behavioral challenges. From anxiety and depression to social skills and self-esteem issues, we offer a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches to support each child's unique needs.
Social Skills Groups
Our social skills groups, designed for children and adolescents, focus on building essential social skills, such as communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving. These groups provide a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and practice these skills with peers who share similar challenges.
Parent Training and Behavior Support
Our team believes that parents play a critical role in their child's development and success. We offer a range of parent training and behavior support services, including coaching, counseling, and education, to help you support your child's successes and overcome challenges.

Each of our clinicians has extensive training, expertise, and experience working with children and families. We strive to provide a collaborative and supportive environment where parents, children, and clinicians work together to achieve positive outcomes.
Support and Expertise
The Clear Lake Children's Center has provided valuable support and expertise to families navigating learning challenges, according to Veronica Saucedo, who gave the center a 5-star rating. Aishah Hassan and Sheri B. also shared positive experiences, praising the warm and friendly staff and the high-quality therapy services.
Billing Issues and Disputes
On the other hand, several reviewers have raised concerns about the center's billing practices. Yvonne Tibai did not agree with the center's diagnoses and sought a second opinion. Altan Erdem's daughter was tested for Dyslexia and ADHD, but the center refused to provide a super bill with the correct diagnosis codes, leading to an out-of-pocket expense of almost $1700. Andy Thomas felt that he was misled and wasted his time and money after being informed that the center would not see his son.
Therapy Services and Staff
Despite some billing issues, Aishah Hassan and Sheri B. both praised the center's friendly and competent staff. Sheri B. had a positive experience with Dr. Becky, who provided ability testing and made the results available the same day.
