About Me
I am Dr. Lisa Stockdale, a licensed psychologist with a Ph. D. in Counseling Psychology from Purdue University. My journey in psychology began with a passion for relationships, which led me to study adult attachment and intimacy. I have extensive training in counseling psychology, research, and writing. My research focused on the connection between our attachment style and future relationships. This passion for relationships has influenced my approach to therapy, as I strive to help individuals and couples build strong, meaningful connections.

Couples Counseling
Our couples counseling sessions are designed to help you and your partner strengthen your bond and navigate life's challenges together. Using Emotionally Focused Therapy, we work to help you and your partner develop a deeper understanding of each other's emotions, needs, and desires. This allows you to respond more thoughtfully and compassionately to one another, fostering a stronger and more resilient relationship.
