Boise Psychological Services, located at 913 S. Latah, Boise, ID 83705, has been providing a wide range of psychological, educational, and vocational testing for learning disabilities, neurological disorders, and career planning since 1974. Our center is dedicated to helping individuals of all ages, from teenagers to seniors, in overcoming various mental health and learning challenges.

Our Testing Services

At Boise Psychological Services, we offer a variety of testing services, including:

Learning Disabilities: Our testing services include assessments for Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Dyslexia. These assessments can help individuals better understand their learning style, strengths, and weaknesses, and provide recommendations for academic accommodations and interventions.

Neuropsychological Testing: We offer neuropsychological testing for Asperger's Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Dementia, Alzheimer's Disease, and other neurological disorders. These assessments can help diagnose and monitor the progression of neurological disorders, as well as provide recommendations for interventions and accommodations.

Career Planning/Continuing Education: Our testing services also include career planning and vocational assessments, which can help individuals identify their interests, aptitudes, and values, and provide guidance for career and educational planning.

Confidentiality

At Boise Psychological Services, we take confidentiality very seriously. All contacts with our center are confidential, except in situations where laws or ethics require notification of a family member or others. We do not release any information regarding testing, testing results, whether a patient has used our services, nor matters discussed in counseling, without the individual's explicit consent.

Meet Our Founder

Boise Psychological Services was started by Michael J. Eisenbeiss, Ph. D. in 1974. Dr. Eisenbeiss is a Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He is also certified by the Idaho Department of Education as a Certified School Psychologist. With over 38 years of experience as a psychologist, Dr. Eisenbeiss has diagnosed and treated a variety of learning disabilities, developmental disorders, and mental health challenges. He has also consulted with local school districts and taught courses in Parent and Teacher Effectiveness Training.
