The American Academy of Clinical Psychology (AACP) is a professional organization dedicated to promoting excellence in the practice of clinical psychology. Established in 1993, the Academy is committed to providing a platform for professional psychologists to share knowledge, skills, and experiences, while also promoting high standards of practice and ethics.

Our mission is to foster a community of professional psychologists who are committed to delivering high-quality services and advancing the field of clinical psychology. To achieve this goal, we offer a range of services and resources that support the professional growth and development of our members, as well as provide a platform for them to engage in research, education, and advocacy.

Membership Benefits

As a member of the AACP, you will enjoy a range of benefits that support your professional growth and development. These benefits include discounted annual premiums for professional liability insurance from American Professional Agency, Inc., opportunities to publish in our journal, the Bulletin, and access to our online community and resources. Our membership is open to professional psychologists who have earned Board Certification in Clinical Psychology from the American Board of Clinical Psychology (ABCP) or who are working towards certification.

Continuing Education

The AACP is committed to providing ongoing education and professional development opportunities for our members. We offer a range of continuing education programs and resources, including APA-approved webinars, home study programs, and conference sponsorships.
