Business Details
We have over twenty years of experience working, studying, and attending trainings in health, wellbeing, and therapy-related fields. We earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lenoir-Rhyne University in 2020. Since then, we have continually participated in study groups and advanced trainings on psychodynamic and psychoanalytic psychotherapy. We hold a Certificate in the two-year psychoanalytic program in Object Relations Theory and Practice from the International Psychotherapy Institute (2026). We have published work in Psychoanalytic Perspectives, including the article 'Alone in Thought: The Risks of Meditation from a Psychotherapeutic Perspective' (2025). Our background also includes a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion from Appalachian State University (2017) and a Certificate in the four-year PsychoEnergetics body-mind depth facilitation program (2016).
We have served as a group facilitator with the Heros Journey Foundation since 2011. We are a licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist in North Carolina (2012-2022), integrating somatic awareness into our therapeutic work. We have taught as faculty at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing in Miami and Fort Lauderdale, FL (2011-2016). Our practice emphasizes a collaborative, affirming environment that respects clients' autonomy and lived experience. We help clients explore unconscious patterns, develop embodied vitality, and move toward authentic, fulfilling lives. Through our specialized psychodynamic approach, we solve complex emotional challenges by fostering deep self-awareness and lasting change.
