Questions
What therapy approaches do you use?
I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Hakomi somatic therapy, integrating additional techniques based on client needs. My approach combines clinical rigor with practical tools for behavioral change.
Do you accept insurance?
I accept Modern Health EAP clients and provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement. Insurance claims require diagnosis documentation and submission through your provider's process.
What are your cancellation policies?
Full session fees apply unless canceled 24 hours in advance. This policy ensures fair compensation for reserved therapy time while maintaining professional practice standards.
How often should therapy sessions occur?
Weekly sessions are recommended initially to build therapeutic momentum. Session frequency may adjust as clients achieve stability and progress toward their established goals.
What about mental health emergencies?
I'm not a crisis counselor. For emergencies, contact 911, 988, or the San Francisco Crisis Line at (415) 781-0500. Current clients should notify me after receiving urgent care.
